Moroccan Achraf Hakimi, the star of the French club Paris Saint-Germain, expressed his pride in his friendship with Kylian Mbappé, the star of the Parisian team, stressing that he feels comfortable playing alongside him.
Paris Saint-Germain is preparing to face AC Milan, on Tuesday evening, at the San Siro Stadium for the fourth round of the group stage in the 2023-2024 Champions League.
A few hours before the match, Hakimi made statements to the French network “RMC”, in which he praised Mbappe, and also spoke about the role of Zinedine Zidane, his former coach at Real Madrid, in his career.

Hakimi said: “I am happy to have Mbappé by my side. When you feel comfortable with a teammate on and off the field, it makes it much easier to play alongside him.”
He added: “For me, it is a pleasure to play with the captain of the France national team. Playing with Mbappe is easier, given his status as a player. We understand each other well, and we know exactly where and when we want the ball with just a look.”
Regarding Zidane, Hakimi said: “He is the first person who put his trust in me and gave me the opportunity to play for Real Madrid. The experience of working with him was amazing.”
He added: “Having him as a coach was incredible. I learned from him and listened to him. I was a young player living his dream.”
Hakimi concluded his statements by saying: “I was trying to understand everything he told me. Zidane’s advice helped me a lot after leaving Real Madrid for Germany.”
It is noteworthy that Hakimi moved to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2021, coming from Inter Milan, and his contract at the “Parc des Princes” extends until 2026.
