The Carolina Hurricanes and Dallas Stars have successfully balanced their respective series in the second round of the National Hockey League (NHL) playoffs, while the Vegas Golden Knights have won 2-0.

“Hurricanes” beat “Bruins” 3: 2 (0: 1, 2: 1, 1: 0).

The winner of the first game, “Bruins”, took the first lead, with David Kreici standing out with a precise shot. In the second period, Teivo Teravainen and Andrejs Svečņikovs answered with two goals, but they failed to defend their advantage due to the accurate shot of Breda Maršāns.

In the third period, the Carolina team was accurate again – the winning victory goal was scored by the former “Bruins” player Dagijs Hamiltons.

In another match, the Dallas “Stars” beat the Calgary “Flames” in a very exciting match with 5: 4 (2: 1, 2: 1, 1: 2), thus equalizing the result in the series.

“Flames” managed to score the first goal – in their ranks Dylon Dube marked with an accurate shot, to which “Stars” responded with one shot of Alexander Radulov in the goal and two accurate broadcasts of Miro Heiskanen. Derek Forbert managed to regain one goal in the middle of the second period, while former Anaheim “Ducks” leader Cory Perry reached 4: 2.

In the third period, one goal was not scored in the “Flames”, but the game was evened out a little later, with Tobias Rieder standing out in the minority at first, and Sam Benet later in the majority. However, that was not all – the last word in the match was said by “Stars” defender Jamie Oleksiaks, who just 40 seconds before the end of the third period sent the puck into the goal, putting his team in the lead 5: 4.

Vegas’ Golden Kinght overtakled Chicago’s Blackhawks 4: 3 (2: 0, 1: 3, 0: 0, 1: 0) to take the lead 2-0.

Paul Stasney, Thomas Nosek and Mark Stone stood out in Vegas in the regular time, while “Blachawks” – Kirby Dach, Dominik Kubalik and Dylan Stroum. Rile Smith brought victory to his team in overtime.

It has already been reported that the Blue Jackets of Columbus reached the level in the series, which beat the Lightning of Tampa Bay by 3: 1 (2: 1, 0: 0, 1: 0).

Finnish goalkeeper Jonas Korpisalo defeated 36 of 37 Lightning hockey players in the winning goal tonight, while Elvis Merzlikins still heals his injury.

Recall that in the first match of the series, the Finnish goalkeeper, repelling 85 of 88 opponents’ shots, recorded his name in NHL history and became the most goal-scoring goalkeeper in a single game. Despite Corpisalo’s fantastic performance, in the first match of the Blue Jackets series against Tampabey, he suffered a dramatic loss in the fifth extra time with 2: 3.
