Al-Sayed added, in exclusive statements to Al-Youm Al-Sabea, that for baladi poultry, it recorded 28 pounds from the farm, and its price reached 30-32 pounds per kilogram for the consumer. The price of frozen and locally made poultry was 35 pounds for a chicken weighing 1 kg net, while the prices of a carton were recorded. Eggs are 26 pounds from the farm, and the consumer price ranges between 30-33 pounds.

Al-Sayed emphasized that the increase in supply and the decrease in demand for poultry following the blessed Eid al-Adha is a seasonal matter that occurs in the poultry market every year due to the consumer’s tendency to red meat during that period.
