The photograph of the actor Jason Statham next to a black rosón and a message that warns of his death circulates through different WhatsApp groups, but the data is false.
Statham is alive. The latest news about the 54-year-old British actor was published on May 23, 2022 and shows him as a “dedicated father”.
The image circulates in different whatsapp groups along with the following text:
“Sad news, the world of cinema is in mourning, Actor Jason Statham known for his role as Frank Martin in ‘The Transporter’ was murdered at his home in New York by assailants who broke into his mansion. He wanted to oppose to protect the family from him, but the criminals noticed him and shot him.”
These data were also published in Facebook on May 21, 2022. After tracking, it was found that these publications are spread from at least the year 2020.
Statham starred different action movies such as “The Transporter”, “The Mercenaries”, “Fast and Furious” and “Death Race”, among others.
He also lent his voice to animated films such as “Gnomeo and Juliet” and participated in comedies such as “The Pink Panther.”
The hoax about death
It is false that the actor died. The latest news about Statham was published on May 23, 2022 on Facebook at 2:06 p.m. and on Twitter at 3:33 p.m. by the official sites “DF style” y “at News”.
Both sites are verified and indicate that Statham is a responsible, committed father and they spread images where the actor is seen with his baby.

The credit of these photographs corresponds to his wife, the British model Rosie Huntington. There is no official note that speaks about the death of the actor, on the contrary, the specialized film portals indicate that Statham is working on the comedy action film Operation Fortune: Cunning War which will be released on June 16, 2022.
