The Robinson R44 light helicopter fell into the river near the village of Sady (commune of Czosnów) after a short flight that started in Modlin. The rescue operation began at approx. 14. Two people were fished out of the river and, in a serious condition, transported to hospital.
The preliminary findings show that the helicopter was used by a 25-year-old instructor and a young student from the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship.
After being transported to the shore, the wounded were handed over to paramedics.
The helicopter set off from the Modlin airport. There were two people on board. After the machine fell into the river, river police officers picked up passengers. The condition of the injured is defined as “severe”.
