Classic and fruit

So that even the drivers do not have to stay dry at the party, we have had a great alternative in the form of non-alcoholic beer on the market for several years. Its taste is quite similar to alcoholic beer, but we even have a wide range of fruit flavors to choose from, so people who don’t like classic beer will appreciate it. Apart from these well-known positives, you might not have thought that non-alcoholic beers could have a positive effect on our health.

Alcohol is more harmful

In non-alcoholic beer we can find similar vitamins and minerals as in classic beer, i.e. especially vitamin B, and thanks to the hops from which the beer is made, we also get a lot of antioxidants and folic acid from it. The main difference is the alcohol content in these drinks.

Although non-alcoholic beers are not 100% non-alcoholic (the alcohol content is usually up to 0.5%), the content is definitely several times lower than that of alcoholic beers. And it is alcohol that devalues the aforementioned beneficial vitamins and other substances. So despite the fact that their composition is not so different, we get much more vitamins from non-alcoholic beer.

Beer improves our immunity

She scientific studies it turned out that beer can also help us in the area of the intestine. Whether this is due to living microorganisms in some beers, or substances that affect the growth of beneficial bacteria in our intestines, it results in better digestion and increased immunity.

To make matters worse, such non-alcoholic beer also contains substances that relatively successfully protect our body from the formation of thrombin, i.e. blood clots. However, as with the aforementioned vitamins, alcohol significantly reduces these positive effects.

Everything in moderation

But we shouldn’t overdo it even with non-alcoholic beer. Although it contains a smaller amount of carbohydrates than ordinary beer, it does not have a negligible energy value either. Of course, flavored non-alcoholic beers have an even higher carbohydrate content. It is therefore important to consume non-alcoholic beer in moderation, although, as we already know, it is a source of many vitamins and minerals.
