The Executive Yuan will pass the National Development Council’s draft “Special Regulations on Strengthening Economic and Social Resilience after the Epidemic and Sharing Economic Achievements for All” proposed by the National Development Council. It is planned to use NT$380 billion for universal cash, injection of health insurance funds, and expansion of public transportation. 9 types of scope including subsidies; the draft will be sent to the Legislative Yuan for deliberation.
The briefing of the National Development Council shows that in response to the severe challenges facing the global economy in 2023, the government will make full use of the central government’s total budget tax revenue, which is expected to exceed the budget, and plan to use 380 billion yuan to strengthen the overall economy, social resilience and resilience.
The regulations cover:
1. Injection into the National Health Insurance Fund, Labor Insurance Fund and Taiwan Power Co., Ltd.
2. Reduce the burden of living and improve the quality of living
3. Strengthen care for vulnerable groups and provide care services
4. Expand public transportation subsidies to reduce the transportation burden of commuters
5. Promote the upgrading and transformation of industries and small and medium-sized enterprises
6. Accelerate expansion to attract international tourists
7. Strengthen agricultural infrastructure and take care of the rights and interests of farmers and fishermen

The National Development Council stated that the implementation period of the regulations and their special budgets will be implemented from the date of promulgation to December 31, 2014. When the implementation period of the regulations and special budgets expires, they can be extended with the consent of the Legislative Yuan; the competent authority for the regulations is the National Development Council .
