The Council of Ministers approved a draft law on organizing clinical medical research, the provisions of which aim to lay the foundations, standards and controls necessary for conducting clinical medical research and protecting the respondents, as this research varies between preventive, diagnostic, curative and non-curative, and this research is intrinsic or non-intrusive.
In this research, it is required to abide by the provisions of the relevant Egyptian laws, covenants and regulations, provided that they are consistent with recognized international ethical standards and principles, as indicated in the executive regulations.
