Since around 11 p.m., three of the biggest social networks have been experiencing serious outages. Whether on WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram, none of them allow sending media files.

If each of these services seems to work, they are actually all media files that no longer launch. On WhatsApp, a very large number of users complain that they can no longer upload photos, audio files or videos. As for Facebook Messenger, it’s the same thing: photos and videos don’t load either. As for Instagram, these are the stories that seem to pose major difficulties for Internet users.
According to reports from Downdetector, the failure would affect almost all regions of the world, with spikes in Europe, much of the United States, as well as in several South American countries. For our part, in the Paris region, we have always managed to load all the media files on the 3 social networks accused since 11 p.m.
To date, none of these networks has yet reported on the cause of the failure. It’s not the first time WhatsApp is victim of such a bug regarding photos and videos. However, the fact that the 3 social networks are concerned at the same time is rather exceptional.
