On a working and friendship visit to Senegal, the president of the transition inaugurated the Gabonese Embassy in Senegal. During this ribbon cutting, Oligui Nguema indicated that: “It is the home of all Gabonese people here in Dakar, without distinction of political stripe or otherwise.”, before adding his expectations; “ “Work for Gabon, work for the Gabonese nation. Put yourself at the service of the Gabonese people. This is what I expect from you”.
For the president of the transition, this embassy inaugurated in Dakar in Senegal is a means of promoting the consolidation of links between his country and Senegal. Because it represents “ an affirmation of Gabonese identity abroad”mentioned President Oligui Nguema, who had also served five years in the former embassy as defense attaché.
