Germany has changed the rules of entry for unvaccinated tourists from Ukraine

The German government has put Latvia, Estonia, Yemen, Brunei and Ukraine on the list with high infection rates. Unvaccinated Ukrainians will have to self-isolate upon arrival in the country.

Germany today divides countries into two types:

  • countries with a high level of infection;
  • countries with a high risk of spreading new strains.

According to the updated rules, from now on, unvaccinated Ukrainians will have to be in quarantine for 10 days upon arrival in Germany. The self-isolation period can be reduced to 5 days with a negative PCR test.

In particular, vaccinated travelers or those who have been ill with coronavirus are exempted from quarantine.

Germany now recognizes these vaccines:

  • Pfizer;
  • Modern;
  • AstraZeneca;
  • Janssen.
