The Future of Current Premises: Cost Savings and Relocations

What will become of the current premises?

In 2025, the relocation of officers from the current police station will have a communicating vessel effect.

The communication services, installed in the premises at 131 avenue Franklin-Roosevelt owned by the City, will take place on the ground floor of the town hall. The offices that they will therefore free up will be taken over by the employees of the house of justice.

€79,000 less rent to pay each year

The building at 3 rue Carnot, currently occupied by the house of justice, is not the property of the City. The latter therefore pays an annual rent of €29,000, in addition to the charges (up to €7,300 in 2022). “This will be one less expense each year,” says the mayor.

A gain which will also be found with the premises rented by the City for the Directorate of Information Systems and Telecommunications (DSIT). Once transferred to the first floor of the future police station, this IT department will save €55,000 in annual rent and related charges (€10,245 in 2022).
