Galaxy Z Flip only settled on the shelves of domestic stores this year at the turn of winter and spring. After half a year, however, an improved version appeared on store shelves, which also boasts 5G connectivity and slightly more powerful hardware.

Thanks to such an early premiere, the original Galaxy Z Flip became cheaper in September from the original CZK 41,990 to CZK 29,990. Now – just a week before Christmas – another significant drop in prices has come. According to Zboží.cz This model is sold out for CZK 19,995, which makes it the cheapest smartphone with a flexible display.

However, the newer version of the Galaxy Z Flip 5G still holds its price tag, and potential applicants will cost CZK 42,990.

Galaxy Z Flip uses a flexible construction to keep the proportions of the device as small as possible. The 6.7-inch display just fits in the human palm when folded.

Other advantages include the original construction of the hidden joint, as stated by the manufacturer himself. This sophisticated mechanism hides dozens of different parts, such as several brushes. These extend across the entire width of the structure, in particular they are located between the hinge and the outer covers. Their task is not only to fill a millimeter gap in this space, which would otherwise allow dirt to enter, but also to clean the phone.

Thanks to the new design, the cut-out in the display and other disturbing elements are also eliminated compared to the Galaxy Fold model, and users have access to the entire area with an aspect ratio of 21.9: 9.
