The fashion for capsule hotels came to us from Japan. Instead of rooms, guests rent small capsules in which they only have a bed at their disposal. Although there is little space in them, there is room for e.g. luggage. Many passengers praise this solution, because you can regenerate by paying much less than for a stay in a traditional hotel.

In Poland, we can find several such facilities, but so far they have not been located at airports. The port in Modlin is rubbing trails and opened the first capsule hotel just at the airport. It is an automated lounge where passengers can relax and rest before their flight. To polish market It was introduced by the Italian company Zzzleepandgo Lounge, which provides guests with capsules, incl. at airports in MilanVerona, Turin or Vienna.

What does the capsule hotel offer?

Zzzleepandgo Lounge offers six fully automated cabins, in which, apart from the bed, guests have access to Wi-Fi, charging contact, USB connections and a TV with a touch screen. The downside is that there is no bathroom in the building, so customers will have to use public toilets, and that the “hotel day” is non-standard. You can stay in it from from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. The fly4free.pl portal learned that this is due to sanitary restrictions related to the coronavirus, as well as the need for thorough cleaning.

You have to pay about PLN 100 for renting a cabin. Reservation is possible via the operator’s website.
