The fire board calls for a meeting on Monday – may be the end for Kåre Ingebrigtsen

One poor win in 14 games is the result for Kåre Ingebrigtsen’s Brann so far this season. It is now called for a board meeting on Monday. On the agenda is the sporting crisis and whether Ingebrigtsen is the right man to lead Brann forward. This is confirmed by board chairman Birger Grevstad above BT.

– You yourself understand that it is a difficult decision. What I can say is that we will have a board meeting on Monday afternoon, then we will evaluate what has happened so far. As I have said many times: No one is protected in this club now, Grevestad said after the match against Mjøndalen.

Asked by BA whether Brann is considering changing coach now, Grevstad replied:

– As I say, we will take it tomorrow, then everyone on the board will come with their input on what we should do. Then we can discuss on a broad basis, so we do not do anything hasty today.

Sunday’s match against Mjøndalen was seen by many as a “be or not be” match for Ingebrigtsen. It ended 1-1.

Bamba saved one point six minutes into overtime. The question is whether it was enough to save Kåre Ingebrigtsen’s job.
