Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The concubine of the King of Thailand Maha Vajiralongkorn took the world by storm. The reason is that a woman named Sineenat Wongvajirapakdi (Niramon Ounprom) apparently has many intimate and intimate photos with Raja Maha.
This was first reported by local European media, Euro Weekly. Journalist who is involved in Thai politics, Andrew MacGregor said he received an SD card containing 1,450 images of the three iPhones previously owned by Sineenat in August 2020. Most of them contain sexually explicit selfies.
While McGregor is known for his harsh comments on King Maha, he refuses to publish the photos. According to him it is privacy and he will not reveal it.
Then what is the figure of Sineenat?
Born on January 26, 1985 in Nan, Thailand’s northern province, Sineenat first worked as a nurse after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Army Nursing College in 2008.
In 2015, Sineenat joined the king’s bodyguard corps, where he completed various military courses, including jungle warfare and parachuting, and obtained a private pilot license. She later moved to serve as major general before becoming royal consort.
In July 2019, she was awarded the title of consort to mark the 67th birthday of the king. It is also the first time in nearly a century a Thai king has taken an empress. In August 2019, Sineenat received massive propaganda set by the palace as the king’s favorite.
While the king of Thailand has a history of choosing an empress, who in Thailand’s case was the king’s official friend, other than his wife, the title has not been used since the country became a constitutional monarchy in 1932.The last king to take an empress was King Rama VI, who ruled from 1910. until 1925.
The title empress places Sineenat in a polygynous relationship with Queen Suthida, Vajiralongkorn’s fourth wife, according to a report by the South China Morning Post (SCMP).
According to Thai Political Prisoners, at the time, the official announcement accused Sineenat of trying to prevent Queen Suthida from being crowned and abusing her royal status.
Sineenat not only expressed her opposition and exerted her pressure at all costs regarding Queen Suthida’s appointment to the throne as Queen of Thailand, but she also sought to have His Majesty appoint her to the role.
The announcement concluded that Sineenat’s actions were considered unfaithful, ungrateful, and disrespectful of the king’s kindness. They cause divisions among government servants and misunderstandings among the public, which are considered the same as acts of sabotage against states and institutions.
As a result, all government ranks, decorations, and military ranks of Sineenat were revoked in October 2019.
According to Sputnik’s report, Sineenat Wongvajirapakdi was then flown by private jet to Munich and then taken to a four-star spa hotel in the ski town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen in the Bavarian Alps.
After being unnamed for a while, Sineenat was pardoned by the King of Thailand and taken to Germany by private jet. His title was also restored. The Thai king himself went to Munich airport to pick him up at a remote hotel with him on August 30.
The Thai Queen, who is now occupied by Queen Suthida, is said to still reject Sineenat’s presence in the government.
