The FIBD awards ceremony live on France Inter

France Inter will devote a special day to comics as part of its official partnership with the FIBD in Angoulême. Friday, January 29, the radio will broadcast live and exclusively at 6 p.m. the festival’s awards ceremony, presented by comedian Thomas VDB.

The program will be under the sign of the 9th art from “Le 5/7” with an interview with Benoît Peeters, President of the Grand Jury at 6:20 a.m. Augustin Trapenard (“Boomerang”) will receive Chris Ware, in official selection for the Fauve d’Or with Rusty Brown (Delcourt) at 9:10 am. In “Grand bien vous faire”, Didier Pasamonik and Charles Pépin will be at the microphone at 10:05 am. At 11:05 am, Nagui (“The Original Soundtrack”) will welcome the actor Bruno Solo, member of the Polar SNCF jury, the filmmaker and actress Valérie Donzelli, member of the Grand Prix Jeunesse, and Benoît Peeters.

At 12:30 pm, “Le jeu des 1000 XL”, a variant of the mythical “Jeu des 1000 euros”, live from Angoulême, will bring together Thomas VDB, singer Albin de la Simone, member of the Grand Jury, Morane Mazars, author of dance (Le Lombard), in official selection, and three listeners.

The day of boxes and bubbles will continue with Lisa Mandel, author ofAn exemplary year (self-published) in official selection in Bruno Duvic’s 1pm newspaper. At 4 p.m., Antoine De Caunes (Popopop) will question Florence Cestac, Grand Prix de la Ville d’Angoulême 2000. In “Une Semaine en France”, at 6pm, just before the ceremony, Cyril Pedrosa, Loïc Sécheresse and Franck Bondoux will be live. At 10 p.m., in “Côté Club”, Emmanuel Guibert, Grand Prix of the City of Angoulême 2020 and star of the next major exhibition of the festival, will close the festivities.
