Festival “Burgas – Exciting and Artistic” – the newest cultural event in the city, challenges the citizens of Burgas and the guests of the city to immerse themselves in the magic of fire.
Three ensembles will present their art on June 23, 24 and 25 in front of the “Park Arena” OZK in the “Slaveykov” complex, the “Arena” hall – the “Izgrev” complex, and in the courtyard of the “Elin Pelin” elementary school – “Meden” complex mine”.
Residents of the Burgas neighborhoods will touch the incredible art of fire at the “Fire and Shadow Theater”, “Fire Theater” and “Palyachi”, who will organize workshops during the day for everyone who wants to get to know how fire is tamed.
Creative workshops will be held on the days of the performances, from 11:00 on the Snail open stage and will engage the interested audience in various activities: carnival laboratory, stilt walking, plate balancing, juggling, poi spinning, sticks and flags .
The festival aims to provide access to culture and art for the city’s residents outside the central city area and to establish itself in the coming years, becoming a traditional one.
The event is organized under the project “Burgas – exciting and artistic”, financed under the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area with contract BGCULTURE-2.002-0019-M003, which aims to improve access for children and youth from ethnic and cultural minorities, persons with low social – economic profile and disadvantaged persons to cultural content in the municipality of Burgas.
