He said in exclusive statements to Al-Arabiya.net that he was driving his car with his wife and two sons at dawn the day before yesterday, Tuesday, on Al-Mushir Street in the Sidi Gaber area in Alexandria, and at the intersection with two train tracks there, where there are industrial bumps to calm down, so he had to calm down, only to be surprised by a speeding car coming from behind that overthrew his car. and make it overturn him and his family on the side of the road.
He added that the force of the collision made him lose consciousness for a moment, but he and his wife managed to get out of the car, only to discover that his eldest son Omar was sleeping in the back seat soaked in his blood, completely unconscious, indicating that the police quickly surrounded the place and arrested the driver of the car that caused the accident and took him. with her to investigate him.
And he added that, with the help of the people, he rushed to take his son to the hospital, where he died there from his severe injury, stressing that the doctors’ report confirmed that he had bleeding in the brain and ears, and severe cuts to the head and facial abrasions.
He said that the details of the accident were shocking to him and his wife, and they felt that what was happening to them and the loss of their son was a bloody nightmare, explaining that he did not know that the reckless driver who caused the accident was the son of a famous artist until after the death of his son.
A 9-year-old child was killed after a car driven by the son of the Egyptian artist, Iman Al-Bahr Darwish, collided with a car carrying him with his family on a street in Alexandria Governorate, in northern Egypt.
Investigations revealed that the artist’s son, Islam, was driving his car at a crazy speed on Al-Musheer Street in the Sidi Gaber area in Alexandria, and the steering wheel was misaligned in his hand, which caused him to collide with a car in front of him and the death of a child who was sitting in its back seat.
The authorities arrested the artist’s son, while the child’s body was transferred to the Kom El-Dikka morgue, where his funeral was held on Wednesday noon.
It is noteworthy that the artist Iman Al-Bahr Darwish is the grandson of the artist Sayed Darwish, who was born in Kom El-Dikka in Alexandria in 1955, and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Alexandria, then began his singing career by forming a singing choir while studying at the college to present the works of his grandfather, the late artist.
He participated in several films, including “Bird in the Sky”, “Forgery in Official Papers”, “A Tale in Two Words” and the series “My Love that I Do Not Know”.
Eman Al-Bahr Darwish was appointed captain of the musicians in 2012, and there were rumors that he had disappeared years ago, only to discover that he was suffering from several diseases and was undergoing treatment.
