In Elite Dangerous: Odyssey you will be able to explore atmospheric planets, especially ice and rock planets, on foot from the first person’s perspective or with a vehicle. Whereby you cannot actually enter all planets, but only selected representatives. When leaving your own spaceship you will discover alien vegetation after landing, if you are lucky. This exotic flora can be analyzed to obtain genetic information from any newly discovered species. The knowledge gained from this can also be used to trade at space stations. The developers particularly emphasize that your own spaceship will probably be larger than expected and that you will hear your own breathing in the exo suit.
