You read it right! During a meeting between European officials of the Permanent Representatives Committee (Coreper), taking place this Friday, it was decided to reopen the borders of the European Union with 14 countries from July 1, reports H24info

These are Morocco, Algeria, Australia, Canada, Japan, Montenegro, New Zealand, Rwanda, Serbia, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia, Uruguay and Georgia.
For its part, China is also part of this list but remains “subject to confirmation of reciprocity”.
The countries on this list will have to approve the opening of their borders by July 1. Nevertheless, Morocco has still not specified the date of opening of its maritime and air borders.
Remember that this list will be subject to periodic review depending on the evolution of the epidemiological situation in the countries.
