Tom Brady of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers broke another unimaginable record against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion is the first NFL player in history to have crossed past 100,000 yards combined in regular season and post-season.

It took 23 45-year seasons and 10 Super Bowl appearances to reach that milestone, making it nearly impossible for any other football player to match that number. The next best quarterback with the most past yards of his career is former Saints quarterback Drew Brees, who rushed for 85,724 yards.
The record was set in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game when Brady pitched a pass to running back Leonard Fournette. After that play, he reached 100,011 yards in career pass.

Sports Illustrated’s Mitch Goldich calculated how far 100,000 yards of passage would go and the answer is 56.8 miles, or over 90 kilometers.
Brady helped the Buccaneers win 16-13 by a comeback over the Rams in the fourth quarter, shortly after reaching the finish line of passing yards. It was the team’s first win after a three-game losing streak.
Brady holds various NFL records throughout his career. Last season, he became the first quarterback to throw 600 touchdown passes. However, the Buccaneers star also broke an unfortunate record a few weeks ago by becoming the most sacked quarterback of all time.
