The enumerators are ready for their mission

With this first half-day training, which took place in the Laudun town hall on Tuesday 3 January, the newly recruited enumerators began their mission of counting the population of the municipality which will end on 18 February.

Directed by Nathalie Defay, Insee supervisor, the training had the aim of clarifying the content of the work envisaged and the methodology to be adopted, in particular for the reconnaissance tour which began on Wednesday 4 January.

A second half-day of training will take place on Tuesday 10 January and the population census will take place between Thursday 19 January and Saturday 18 February.

The enumerators have been carefully selected by the municipality. They are all volunteers for this one-off job with a different profile. They will have a tricolor card signed by the mayor, with their photo and their name. Their names are Bianca Boicheva, Margaux Borrelly, Betty Buil, Catherine Degouse-Murat, Carole Ferrier, Valérie Lesage, Laura Nadji, Gabin Restoueix, Anthony Richaudeau, Célia Turrel and Benjamin Vernier.

Each of them will intervene in a neighborhood to distribute a questionnaire to which it will be up to the inhabitants to answer, online or on paper, by setting an appointment with the agent for the return by February 18th.

The population census is a mandatory civic act that concerns everyone and benefits everyone as it is useful for the implementation of public policies. The enumerators are available to help you in this process and the town hall asks you to give them the best welcome.
