José Miguel Luengo, in statements made to Radio Cartagena de la Cadena SER, has stated that “all this situation has occurred due to the rupture of a pipeline of the Mancomunidad de Canales del Taibilla that passes through a green area of a public park in Santiago de la Ribera, and that the water that was entering the Mar Menor, had that brown color due to the earth that it has dragged to the network of rainwater in the area and that flows into the lagoon “.
