A scientist in the UK (UK) says one second may need to be ‘removed’ from the atomic clock which is the world’s timekeeper.

A British National Physical Laboratory scientist, Peter Whibberley has warned that if the rate of rotation increases faster, moment control may be necessary.
According to scientific calculations, on a daily basis, the earth contains 86,400 seconds but the rotation is not uniform.
Atomic clocks are very accurate and measure time through the movement of electrons in atoms. There has never been a second or second removal from an atomic clock since it was invented in the 1950s.
Earth rotates 420 times a year since millions of years ago but now rotates 365 times a year.
