Broadcast on Sunday June 28, the program Sept à Huit unveiled a report which shocked them viewers. Indeed, we are told that families live in vaults and this, in all legality. This phenomenon affects the poorest families, who have no choice but to to occupy cemeteries to survive.

Sept à Huit broadcasts a shocking report

Known for its shocking reports, the show Seven to Eight broadcast on TF1 and presented by Harry Roselmack, hit hard again. AT Manila, to the Philippines, the poorest families have no housing and survive in very amazing conditions. This is how the North cemetery, the biggest in town (with 54 hectares) is now largely occupied by these people.

The report reveals shocking images adults and children who cohabit in vaults now fitted out like a real little house. Indeed, we see a kitchenette, of mattress and sometimes the air conditioner that allow families to have a roof over their heads. However, some families do not have enough space to place all the mattresses in the vault. That is why some locals are forced to place their mattress directly on a grave.

Seven to Eight Presents an unusual cemetery

This rather awful way of life revealed by Seven to Eight is however authorized by law. LCI explains that “The law of the country tolerates it for people who own the family vault and those who make an arrangement with the relatives of the deceased. These constitute the vast majority of the inhabitants of this cemetery ”.

For several years now, this graveyard became “A city among the dead”. This place of meditation is now occupied by 10,000 individuals who bring comfort and leisure to care for and live with the strictly necessary. Today, there are shops, a basketball court, of classroom and an extension that allows electricity and running water! The cemetery continues to welcome every weekend at least 100 burials in the middle of this “Neighborhood life” improvised.
