“So we really have to anticipate this, especially we have to maintain a clean and healthy lifestyle (PHBS) in the community and the environment,” Nia said to the media crew, Friday (15/7/2022).

According to him, mosquitoes are susceptible to breeding in containers that hold water. Therefore, his party invites the public to carry out the 3M Plus Mosquito Nest Eradication (PSN) movement.

The Bekasi City Health Office also carried out fogging, counseling inside and outside the building, simultaneous PSN movements, P2P cadres, to administering insecticides.

“Furthermore, there will be larva monitoring activities in 2022. We will immediately visit the houses of residents of DHF patients. We will see if the water has larvae or not. And if it is not drained, the eggs will still have larvae. This is what we need to educate the public about,” he explained.

Because fogging does not kill mosquito larvae, the public is also advised to take K3 action every Friday, according to the advice of the Acting Mayor of Bekasi.

“If fogging must be surveyed first by the health center. Insecticide resistance to the strength of mosquitoes. They may increase their immunity when fogging,” he said.
