“We are waiting, if they leave, we will beat the columns. I don’t think they will go far here, we have already managed to prepare”, says the soldier.
Four main lines of communication with Belarus and two hundred common borders – all this has now turned into one continuous line of defense created by the Ukrainian army.

But it seems that now there is not a soul on the Belarusian borders. “There have been some awakenings in the last few days. Now there is peace and quiet. You see, we look at the entire border. Now there is no such threat,” he says.
The military is evaluating four possible options for an offensive in this area if Russia wants to reopen the northern front: these are the Rovno nuclear power plant, the city of Kovel, Sarny or Korosten. But Ukrainian fighters call such plans of the Kremlin fantastic, but the exercises are not stopped as close to the border as possible, so as not to relax on the other side.
Also, the Volyn forests are not the best way for military equipment. The swamp is a natural barrier to enemy infantry. Ours, patrolling the border, also gets stuck in the water. The river overflowed and created natural engineering barriers, turned the fields into continuous swamps, in which even a tank would get bogged down.
