“I would return to total quarantine,” said Mateo Martinez, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, regarding the peak of Covid infections in the province. 938 active cases and around 0.09% of the population of the province.
“If I had to decide as a doctor alone, I would love a total quarantine, because there are epidemiological data that indicate that a total quarantine would have an efficiency level of 50 to 75% to minimize cases,” he explained in the program Los Primeros .
The “novel” total quarantine proposal was already applied until two months ago and the results are in sight.
