Popular doctor and TV presenter Alexander Myasnikov said the date of birth could affect human health.

On the air of the program “On the most important” he explained how the month of birth is related to the risk of developing one or another disease.

The expert, citing data from Columbia University in the United States, notes that a study of medical records of about 1.5 million people in the late 20th century makes it possible to establish that in certain months of birth people often get the same disease .

How does the date of birth affect health?

“It turns out that those born in January are more likely to have hypertension and cardiomyopathy, and those born in February have problems with the respiratory system and even bronchial cancer,” the doctor explained.

According to Myasnikov, those born in March are prone to mitral valve disease and arrhythmias.

People with a birthday in April are more prone to angina pectoris, and in May babies are low birth weight.

It was found that those born in June have a predisposition to myocardial infarction, in July – to hypertension and urinary tract diseases, and in August – to asthma.

The doctor is convinced that these predispositions are not related to human genetics.

“This is a statistical fact,” he said. At the same time, he said he acknowledged the link between these diseases and the period in which a person grew up in the first six months of life.
