Revealed is already a riddle deadly fire in a workshop as well as a house in Malabar Market, Tangerang. Police say there are elements intentional behind the fire that killed a family.
A doctor with initials MA (29) was named a suspect in the deadly fire incident. The suspect is Lionardi’s girlfriend (34), the son of the workshop owner.
The fire occurred on Friday (6/8) last night. The fire killed 3 people, namely Edy (66) the owner of the workshop, his wife named Lilys (55) and their son named Lionardi (34).
The three victims died because they did not have time to save themselves. Father, mother and son died trapped on the top floor when the fire burned the 1st floor of the workshop.
Quarrel started
Before the fire broke out, MA and Lionadri got out of the suspect’s car. They then get involved quarrel in front of the workshop.
“The witness saw that the victim, Lionardi, had an argument with the perpetrators of the Supreme Court in front of the victim’s workshop,” said Head of the Tangerang City Police Public Relations Subdivision Kompol Abdul Rochim when contacted by reporters, Tuesday (10/8/2021).
Lionardi even knew about the MA’s evil plan. After the two separated in front of the workshop, Lionardi rushed to tell his family about MA’s plan to burn the workshop.
“When they got out of the car, the perpetrator and the victim entered the repair shop, then the victim, Lionardi, told (the family) that his girlfriend was going to set the workshop on fire,” he said.
Fire Moments
Not long after the suspect left, sound of explosion from inside the workshop. The fire then quickly burned the part of the 1st floor which was also the workshop.
The fire trapped the victims. However, two witnesses managed to escape.
“After that, the victim’s boyfriend left and not long after, an explosion was heard inside the workshop and immediately a fire broke out, so that the victim’s witness and victim could not get out of the workshop because the fire was already burning downstairs,” he said.
The MA doctor is suspected of planning the action. He was also named a suspect. See on the next page
