The Argentine Ministry of Health announced the registration of a record number of new infections with the Corona virus, which exceeded 10 thousand cases, for the first time since the outbreak of the epidemic.
The ministry indicated that it recorded 10,550 new cases of corona yesterday, Wednesday, bringing the total number of injuries in the country to 370,188.
The ministry report added that 276 new deaths from the Coronavirus were also recorded during the last day, bringing the death toll to 7,839 people.
And the government of President Alberto Fernandez had announced the extension of the closure measures aimed at preventing the spread of the virus in the capital, Buenos Aires and the surrounding region, until the end of this month, due to the largest number of infections recorded in this particular region.
It should be noted that Latin America is the region most affected by the Coronavirus epidemic in the world, as it has the largest number of infections and deaths, with the second largest global death toll in Brazil and the third largest death toll in Mexico.
