Robert Ménard would be elected in the first round, according to a poll

According to an Ifop / Fiducial poll, published this Wednesday in Noon Free, Robert Ménard would be elected to
Béziers, in Hérault, from the first round of
municipal, next March 15th. The outgoing mayor collects 61% of the voting intentions.

Thierry Antoine (EELV / France rebellious) comes second, far behind Robert Ménard, with 15% of the voting intentions. Follow Nicolas Cossange (PS / PC / PRG) at 8%, Pascal Resplandy (LREM / Agir / Modem) at 7%, Antoine About (various right) at 4% and Claire Dotto (without label) at 2%. Finally, 3% of those questioned replied that they would vote for an “other list”.

He was elected in the second round in 2014

In 2014, Robert Ménard won the town hall of Béziers in the second round, with 46.98%, in a triangular which had opposed him to the right and the left.

This survey was conducted on a sample of 607 people, representative of the population of Béziers, aged 18 and over, registered on the electoral lists. The representativeness of the sample was ensured by the quota method (by sex, age, and profession of the head of household) after stratification by canton. The interviews were conducted by phone from January 27 to 30, the newspaper said.
