– On Friday, 293 confirmed cases of covid-19 increased in the Czech Republic. Since the onset of the epidemic, 19,693 people have been infected with the new coronavirus. So far, 394 patients with covid have died. Currently there are a record 5567 patients.
– In Brazil, there were 50,644 new coronavirus infections on Friday, almost 10,000 less than the previous day. Across Latin America, according to Reuters, the number of people infected exceeded six million. Latin America is the world’s most affected pandemic region.
– Some countries have seen a record increase in coronavirus infections over the past day – Austria, Spain and Germany highest in more than three months, Croatia and Ukraine highest since the beginning of the pandemic and Italy highest since June.
