The Czech show doesn’t end in Boston. Krejci and his compatriots managed the win over Philadelphia

Czech hockey players led Boston’s 4: 1 victory over Philadelphia. David Krejčí scored twice and Tomáš Nosek also made his mark for the second time this season. Pavel Zacha scored twice for the Bruins and David Pastrňák extended his scoring streak with an assist.

Boston’s tenth consecutive home victory was started in the 32nd minute by Nosek, who opened the scoring of the match after action by Zacha and Nick Foligno.

Pastrňák made it 2-0, who in a power play from his signature top left circle position found Jake DeBrusk accurately and scored for the fifth time in a row.

In the 50th minute Owen Tippett scored, but after 16 seconds Krejčí scored for the first time in the match and put the Bruins back into the lead by two goals. The experienced Czech center took advantage of the excellent work of striker Zach and did not hesitate in front of the goalkeeper himself.

Krejčí scored the second shot in the 57th minute, when he took advantage of Foligno’s passes and closed the score. The 36-year-old Czech striker scored more than once in a match for the first time since his return and took his tally to 11 points.

David Krejčí’s first success…

… and his second hit:

Colorado, with big catcher Pavel French, taught Carolina a lesson in productivity. The Hurricanes beat the defending Stanley Cup champions 48-15 but took just one point on their own ice for a 2-3 overtime loss.

Martin Nečas, who first provided Sebastian Ah with a goal and skilfully rounded the Frenchman in the 51st minute, sent the game into extra time with his eighth goal of the season. In that, after two minutes, three Colorado players ran away and Artturi Lehkonen successfully completed the renumbering.

Vítek Vaněček also achieved a 3:2 victory after overtime in the match between New Jersey and Toronto. The Czech goalkeeper made 25 saves as he helped the Devils to an 11th straight win. Jegor Šarangović decided on an extension after 57 seconds.
