The Summer Olympics in Tokyo kicked off on Friday, but more and more cases of covidem-19 are being addressed than the Czech Republic’s Olympic hopes.

Four athletes and one coach have already been tested positively. They all traveled in a plane in which the doctor Vlastimil Voráček also flew. He was not vaccinated against covid, and it was in him that the disease proved to be the first. The WWTP released an unvaccinated doctor aboard a government special. He now admits it was a mistake.

“In retrospect, it seems to have been a mistake. We are now investigating how this could have happened, “Kejval admitted.” The primary problem is that we had an infected person on board, “he added.

According to Kejval, each person on board should have passed two tests. 96 and 72 hours before departure. It is said that there were also people on board who were supposed to supervise the observance of the rules. “We are investigating everything, but according to the first reports, the flight was standard, but it was extremely long. It lasted 14 hours and the athletes were at the airport for another 8 hours,” said the head of the WWTP.

Kejval is said to be ready to resign. “If it turns out that I’m responsible for it, no doubt,” Kejval replied.
