The Ascent seems to go from strength to strength with every trailer released, and this one is no exception. In honor of the day, we get a look at the game’s collaborative mode, where up to four players can stop to beat robots, aliens and the occasional human.
The game takes place on the planet Veles, where the mega-company Ascent Group owns everything, including the player himself. So what happens when Ascent Group one day shuts down without warning? Chaos. Chaos happens.
Since it is an action RPG, there is of course a plethora of cyberware and skill points to customize your character with, in addition to equipment and weapons. We are also attracted by destructible environments and paths that are completely carpented by hand – no process generation here.
Sometime in 2021, it’s time to unveil the Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC.
