Siti Rohani (50) and her child, Melinda (26), became victims stabbing a man in a ‘police’ vest. Both victims were injured and are currently being treated at the hospital.
Kapolsek Bantargebang Kompol Samsono said the condition of the mother and child is starting to improve.
“Two (victims), Rohani and Melinda, now thank God they are fine, under treatment at the hospital,” said Samsono when contacted detik.comFriday (1/7/2022).
Samsono said Siti Rohani suffered injuries to several parts of her body, including lacerations to the right palm, right back, middle chest, cuts to the left back, and cuts to the right back of the head.
Meanwhile, Melinda suffered lacerations to the left back of her head and bruises to her left back.
Asked for confirmation separately, the victim’s aunt, Ai Suryani, said that Siti Rohani was referred to the Bekasi City Hospital on Thursday night (30/6). He received information that Siti Rohani had to undergo surgery.
“Last night he was immediately taken to the Bekasi Hospital. The news just now that his mother had to undergo surgery. Maybe the wound was deep. The problem was that the first hospital had inadequate stitches. Because the surgeon and the equipment were incomplete,” he said via text message, Friday (1/7/ 2022).
Ai said the condition of the two victims had improved. Siti Rohani is said to be conscious even though she is still experiencing shortness of breath.
“Alhamdulillah, it has improved somewhat, it has been moved to the nurse’s room. (Siti Rohani) is awake, it’s just still tight,” he said.
Residents’ Testimony
The incident was reported on Thursday (30/6/2022) at around 17.50 WIB. One of the witnesses, Rafli Tegar (23), heard a woman screaming for help.
Rafli had met the perpetrators on the street. Initially, Rafli thought the man in the ‘police’ suit was the police who were handling the incident.
“After listen the crowd shouted, I went up. There is the police, I think again nanganin. I walked a little in front of his house, his mother was already covered in blood, so I focused on her mother,” said Rafli when met at the location, Thursday (30/6) night.
Called Rafli, at the time of the incident, there were three people in the house, namely the mother, a 25-year-old child named Linda, and a small child about 7 years old, known as a niece.
The mother’s child also managed to escape through the back door, but was stabbed by the perpetrator. According to Rafli, the mother suffered stab wounds in the chest, cuts behind the back to the hands, while the child suffered injuries to the head.
The victim was then rushed by Rafli to the Puspa Husada Hospital. He took the victim on a motorbike.
