The accident happened on Sunday, May 31, on road number 33 near Černožice. According to the police, the BMW driver did not manage to drive fast and when overtaking on a straight section, he collided head-on with an oncoming Škoda Octavia car in the opposite direction.

A 27-year-old BMW driver, a 40-year-old Octavia driver and his 30-year-old co-driver died on the spot. There was also a minor child in Škoda, who was transported to the hospital by a rescue helicopter with severe injuries.
