Emma Corrin, who appears in the fourth season of the Netflix series The Crown the British Princess Diana played can be seen in the third Deadpool-film. Deadline reports that Corrin is taking on a lead role in the film.
According to the American website, film studio Marvel had been interested in working with Corrin for some time, but were unable to make time in the British actor’s busy schedule. This would eventually have worked. What the role of Corrin, who identifies as non-binary, will look like is not yet known.
It was previously announced that Hugh Jackman will reprise his role as superhero Wolverine for the third Deadpool-movie. The Australian played the character for the last time in the film Logan from 2017. Deadpool is played again by Ryan Reynolds, who also played the character in the first two films.
