It is no secret that the company Geely plans this year to bring to the Russian market its new crossover kupeobrazny “SUV” FY11 that will compete with Haval F7x. On the eve it became known, at first, to put in FY11 to Russia will be directly from China.
“If we see demand, if FY11 will be in demand, if we count the cost and a consumer that it is necessary, the localization question is raised. According to the specialist, to sell in Russia new FY11 will be two engine options, the capacity of which will be adjusted to the tax rates. While the details regarding these motors have not been disclosed but it is expected that they will be 2-litre turbocharged unit, derated from 237-HP to 199 HP, 1.5-liter turbo with 177 “forces”. Both pair will be a classic automatic transmission. The drive can be selected for both the front and the full.
FY11 sales of Geely, the Chinese automotive brand was developed together with Volvo engineers, should start in Russia in the third quarter of this year.
