The court approved the protection of the men’s fashion seller Blažek from creditors

The server warned of the announcement of the moratorium E15.cz.

In the proposal to declare a moratorium, Blažek stated that it had to close stores for several months in connection with the government’s measures against the spread of coronavirus. The subsequent drop in sales could not compensate her for the sale of goods over the Internet. The company writes that it will try to stabilize the company’s operations during the moratorium.

According to information on his website, Blažek has 21 stores in the Czech Republic and eight in Slovakia. According to the E15.cz server, the company has 125 employees and its turnover for the last accounting period was 455 million crowns.

Thanks to the moratorium, creditors cannot demand payment of the debtor’s debts. According to the law, the moratorium lasts three months, the aim is to avoid bankruptcy or other solutions to insolvency. The moratorium is one of the measures in place in connection with the spread of coronavirus. After three months, the court can extend it for another three months. Other companies, Czech Airlines and Smartwings, and the Firo-tour travel agency have already taken this step this week.
