The coronavirus rebounds in Malaga with eight deaths and 227 more infections | BE Malaga | Hour 14 Malaga

The Andalusian Health Service reports a rebound in cases with 227 infections more in the last 24 hours in Malaga. They have registered eight dead since Wednesday

Cumulative incidence remains intact: 88 cases for every one hundred thousand inhabitants in the Malaga capital and 100 on average in the province.

Regarding healthcare pressure, there is 13 more hospitalized in Malaga, and three other patients in ICUs.

Andalusia adds this Thursday, March 11 1,095 cases of coronavirus after four consecutive days below a thousand, according to data consulted by Europa Press of the Institute of Statistics and Cartography of Andalusia (IECA), which has recorded 36 deaths, similar to 35 on the day before and 41 on Thursday.

The cumulative incidence rate of the autonomous community has fallen for the third consecutive day and stands at 121.6 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days, 0.7 points less than the rate of 122.3 of the day before and 13.2 points below the rate of 134.8 of last Thursday.

The 1,095 positives of this day are registered after four consecutive days below a thousand with 977 cases on Wednesday, 579 on Tuesday, 454 on Monday and 904 on Sunday. In addition, the infections of this day are higher than the 985 of last Thursday, but are lower than the 1,256 of Thursday, February 25, to the 1,803 of the February 18 and at 3,506 on February 11, and are very far from the 6,733 on Thursday, February 4.

Malaga is the province that has registered the most cases, with 227, followed by Seville with 211, Almería with 196, Granada with 179 and Cádiz with 116. Below the hundred are Córdoba with 96, Jaén with 51 and Huelva with 19.

The number of 36 deaths this Thursday is similar to the 35 on Wednesday, but it represents a decrease with respect to the 74 deaths Tuesday. On this day, Seville and Cádiz have added nine deaths, Malaga eight, Jaén five, Almería three and Córdoba two. Granada and Huelva do not register deaths.

Andalusia registers 1,261 patients hospitalized for coronavirus, 55 less than on Wednesday and 364 less than a week ago, of which 310 are in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU), eight less than the day before and 81 less than seven days ago.
