Jensen says that they were a little surprised by the level of the team from Lithuania, but also says that they had looked at analyzes that there was a difference between the league there and in Norway. FC Gintra has won the league for the last ten years. Now she is looking forward to exciting ways.

– Champions League is the coolest thing you can play, Jensen says.

The round of 16 finals in the Champions League will be played from 9 and 10 December. The draw is on November 24.

Last year’s league champion LSK Women is directly qualified for the playoffs.

– It will be exciting to see what we achieve. It will be tougher resistance there, but it will only be fun, says Jensen.

At the same time as the success in Europe, Vålerenga is fighting for league gold in the Toppserien. Before the last round – who has been exposed after corona infection in Arna-Bjørnar – Vålerenga tops the table with as many points as Rosenborg and only one point down to Avaldsnes. In other words, it is set for a thriller ending in the battle for the gold.

– There will be a period with only important matches now. It’s very cool, and at the same time a bit demanding because a lot is at stake with nerves and stuff. But this is what you live for and we are very much looking forward to the end, says Jensen.
