Since his Copa Libertadores debut in 2014, Independiente del Valle has remained unbeatable at home. In 16 games he had 11 wins, 5 draws and no losses.
The official Conmebol account highlighted the striped cast as “the last champion of the Copa Sudamericana”, who “never lost” in his redoubt. Attached to the publication, he left a video that includes all IDV’s commitments in the continental tournament.

The Rayados defeated Junior 3-0 for the second date of Group A. The match was played on March 11, 2020, at the Atahualpa Olympic Stadium. Fernando Guerrero, Moisés Caicedo and Lorenzo Faravelli were the authors of the goals.
The streak could be extended, as he must still play at home against Flamengo and Barcelona, the other two members of Group A. However, he must wait for Conmebol to establish a date and format to resume the competition.
