Ambulance driver during the evacuation of the bodies Brigadier N. Joshua Hutabarat, Ahmad Syahrul Ramadhan, admitted he was confused when he took Joshua’s body to the police hospital. Syahrul was surprised because Joshua’s body was taken to the emergency room (IGD) not the morgue.
Syahrul initially said he was evacuating the bodies at Ferdy Sambo’s official residence at the Duren Tiga Police Complex. Initially, Syahrul did not know the body. Because his face is a corpse Brigadier Joshua covered with a mask.
After the evacuation, Syahrul said he was asked to deliver the body to the National Police Hospital accompanied by a member of the Provos National Police. However, when he arrived at the police hospital, he was surprised because Joshua’s body was taken to the ER, not the morgue.
“First of all, he didn’t go straight to CSI, Your Honor, to the morgue. He wasn’t (taken to the morgue) to the ER and I asked the one who accompanied me: ‘Why did you let me go to the Emergency room? Usually if I go straight to the morgue, go to forensics’ He said, ‘Wow, I don’t know, I’ll just follow orders, I don’t understand,’ “Syahrul said when he witnessed the Bharada Eliezer trial at the South Jakarta District Court, Monday (11/7/2022).
Syahrul admitted that the emergency room officer who received the body was also surprised to see Joshua already in the body bag. Eventually, the body was not checked in the emergency room and was taken to the morgue.
“Then I went to the emergency room, until the emergency room was already crowded, I opened the door, the police hospital officer came (asked) ‘how many victims were there?’ Wow, I was confused, “only one”, then I saw “oh how come he’s already in the body bag, there is someone.” When asked “how many victims?” (Answer) ‘one’, then ‘Yes sir, take it to the back of the morgue, ‘”Syahrul said.
Syahrul admitted that at that moment he immediately took Joshua’s body to the morgue. There, Syahrul also waited a long time.
Even the president of the jury, Wahyu Iman Santosa, was surprised when Syahrul admitted that he had been asked to wait until the morning. Syahrul admitted that he did not know why he was asked to wait, even though he had nothing else to do.
In this trial, the defendants were Bharada Richard Eliezer Pudihang Lumiu or Bharada E, Bripka Ricky Rizal and Strong Ma’ruf. The three were accused of killing Brigadier N Yosua Hutabarat along with Ferdy Sambo and Putri Candrawati.
