The coming winter will be the most terrible for Ukrainians. This was stated by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba.

“We are preparing for the worst winter in history. So we’ll turn a blind eye if we don’t get the Taurus, but we do get air defense systems. We are trying to protect our power plants as best as possible,” Dmitry Kuleba said in an interview with a German newspaper The world. He noted that Ukrainians are now purchasing candles to survive energy infrastructure failures.

Russia began to strike Kyiv’s energy facilities only after explosion of the Crimean bridge in the fall of 2022. Russian President Vladimir Putin reported this.

The winter of 2023-2024 will be difficult not only because of the impacts on energy resources, but also because of the Russian Federation’s withdrawal from the grain deal, reports RT. At the same time, Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky is already asking the West to give Kyiv weapons for rent to prepare for winter.
