The clinical committee maintains the current restrictions in Galicia

The closure of the hotel industry and the perimeter confinement in 60 municipalities continues

SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA, 10 (EUROPA PRESS)

The clinical committee of experts has decided to maintain the restrictions in force in Galicia against the coronavirus pandemic, which go through measures such as the closure of the hotel industry and the perimeter confinement of 60 municipalities.

The Department of Health has reported this after the committee meeting held this afternoon of Tuesday, November 10, has ended.

Around 60% of the Galician population living in 60 municipalities – the seven cities and another 53 town halls, some from urban areas and others isolated – have had limited mobility since last Saturday.

Thus, the municipalities with greater restrictions are: A Coruña, along with Arteixo, Culleredo, Cambre and Oleiros; the city council of Lugo alone; Santiago with Ames, Boqueixón, Oroso, O Pino, Teo, Trazo, Val do Dubra and Vedra; Ferrol, with Ares, Fene, Neda, Narón and Mugardos; Ourense, with Amoeiro, Barbadás, Coles, O Pereiro de Aguiar, San Cibrao and Toén; Pontevedra, with Vilaboa, Ponte Caldelas, Poio, Marín, Barro, Campo Lameiro, Cerdedo-Cotobade and Soutomaior; and Vigo with Mos, Nigrán, Gondomar, O Porriño and Redondela.

The municipalities with the cumulative rate of 14 days over 200 cases per 100,000 inhabitants also have the same restrictions, and an upward trend in the notification of the same: Vimianzo, Monforte, Burela, Viveiro, O Carballiño, Verín, Xinzo, Cangas, A Estrada , Lalín, Silleda, Ponteareas, Tui, Cambados, O Grove, Vilanova de Arousa and Vilagarcía de Arousa.

In all these areas a perimeter closure is undertaken and mobility is limited to within the “perimeter almond” defined by the regional Executive. In any case, 100% of movements are allowed to go to work, to school, to attend to the necessary care of minors and elderly, and all health movements. And commerce works with the same criteria as the rest of Galicia.

In the remaining 253 Galician municipalities, the restrictions are homogenized in accordance with the latest regional decisions. Thus, there are no mobility restrictions, but you cannot enter the 60 closed town halls except for justified exceptions to carry out an essential activity.

With the same premise, the capacity in the common areas of the shopping centers was reduced to a third, although the 50% inside the stores is maintained.
