Cinema in the district of Olpe: The Cineplex Olpe

The Cinemax Olpe has 786 seats, which are spread over five halls. The Olper cinema and the associated underground car park can be reached via Franziskanerstraße. The underground car park is intended for cinema guests and costs EUR 0.50 per hour. There are other parking options in the surrounding multi-storey car parks, which are free on weekdays after 6 p.m. and on Sundays.

Also children’s birthdays (Children up to the age of eleven) are celebrated in Olpe. Here there is the possibility, from a minimum number of seven people, a birthday package is available for a special price. The price includes a ticket for a 2D film, a small bag of popcorn and a 0.5l soft drink. The birthday child and an accompanying adult do not have to pay admission. At least from a number of ten people, otherwise the companions pay the normal child price.

Cinema in the district of Olpe: the Lennestadt Altenhundem cinema

The Cinema in Lennestadt is located directly on Altenhundemer Hauptstrasse. The cinema has three cinema halls – they are called “Contrast”, “Camera” and “Classic”.

The cinema has existed since 1916. Since then, however, the cinema has been renovated and expanded several times and is now in the hands of Christin Cordes.

There are special offers – such as the film café or the film series “My first visit to the cinema”. Before the film starts, we chat over coffee and cake at the film café. This always takes place on one Wednesday of the month.

Parking is available across the street in the Hundem Center multi-storey car park – free of charge – or in the Lennestadt car park, but this is subject to a fee.

The JAC Cinema Attendorn was opened on June 17, 2019 under the management of Christin and Johannes Cordes with five cinemas. Each room is barrier-free and has its own theme and appropriate name. There are “Stage”, “Terra”, “Galaxy”, “Empire” and “Circle” halls.

There are three seating categories in total. The normal “Comfort Platz”, the “Premium Platz” or the “Relax Sofa”. In the “Terra” and “Galaxy” halls there are relax sofas. There are “premium seats” in the “Stage”, “Galaxy” and “Empire” halls. These have a small table and their own footstool. The “Galaxy” room has the Dolby Atmos 360 degree sound system.

The film series “My first visit to the cinema” is aimed at younger visitors. At the “senior cinema” the seniors meet over coffee and cake and then watch a film. This always takes place on the second Wednesday of the month. There is a sneak preview every Saturday in the late performance. Here you buy a cinema ticket without knowing beforehand which film you are actually watching.

The best way to get to the cinema car park is via the “Am Zollstock” entrance – opposite the advertising agency “DES WAHNSINNS FETTE BEUTE” – and you can park there for free.
