The protests and ‘caceroladas‘ summoned to demand the resignation of Pedro Sánchez at the head of the Government for the management of the coronavirus pandemic have spread over different territories of the country over the days despite continuing to be a minority movement.
The germ that emerged on Calle Núñez de Balboa, in the Madrid neighborhood of Salamanca, has spread over the days through different areas of Madrid such as the neighborhoods of Mirasierra, Aravaca, Chamartín, Montecarlo or Aravaca, Madrid towns such as Pozuelo de Alarcón or Getafe, and other Spanish cities such as Salamanca, Zaragoza, Logroño or Guadalajara.
The capital of Spain continues to concentrate the largest number of citizens who join the saucepan. This Monday, a group of citizens has demonstrated again this Monday in front of the PSOE headquarters, on Ferraz street.
For the third day, the protesters gathered at 8:50 p.m. and the Municipal Police had to cut off traffic on that section of the street. The congregants have arrived with saucepans, posters on which you could read slogans such as ‘Sánchez vete ya’ and wrapped with flags of Spain, some of them with a black crepe in mourning for the victims of the coronavirus.
At the same time, they cried out ‘Sanchez resignation’, ‘Government resignation’ and ‘Freedom’ as they walked down the road and tried to safeguard the security distance.
In this sense, the protesters, of different ages, wore their own mask, many of them with the flag of Spain. Like other days, two ‘milk companies’ from the National Police reinforced security in the area and several officers gathered in front of the PSOE headquarters, on the sidewalk.
